Tourmaline w/ Lepidolite - SOLD

MMY-1206 - A unique masterpiece...gemmy purple lepidolite clusters accent a doubly terminated pair of pink tourmaline crystals from the famous Himalaya Mine in San Diego County, California. In the photo, the bottom termination of the large crystal is flat and glassy. The crystal on the left side of the piece has a pyramidal termination on the bottom. Superb! A terminated sidecar crystal juts out from the left. No repairs...wonderful from any angle.

Fluorite Stalactite w/ Quartz & Galena - $350

MMB-701 - This unusual stalactite specimen from the famous Rogerley Mine is covered with green fluorite showing good transparency and a selective dusting of sugary quartz. Galena octahedrons are interspersed throughout. The specimen displays well from any angle. An English classic of a type rarely found during collecting at the Rogerley.

Calcite on Amethyst - SOLD

MMB-699 - Color-less "wheat-sheaf" calcite crystals with a zoning band running through the center nicely contrast with rich purple amethyst in this attractive small cabinet specimen. Such examples from Guanajuato were mined years ago and only seldom show up in the mineral market today.

MMB-697 - A sharp-edged, slightly flattened crystal of bournonite with both terminations visible intersects several flattened quartz prisms in this "toenail" sized specimen from China. There is one crystal contact and an unobtrusive nick on one edge. Perched at the intersection of the quartz and bournonite is a fluorite crystal.

MMB-557 - This exceptional cabinet specimen showcases modified cubic fluorite crystals (to 3.8 cm) that are truly water clear and contain phantoms that provide a purple "blush" to the whole specimen. Dolomite, quartz, and small pyrite crystals add appeal to the piece and make it a treat to examine in your hands. Ferberite with Quartz - SOLD

MMB-559 - A large and lustrous, striated ferberite crystal with fine termination is accented by a contrasting white quartz crystal (also terminated). Calcite crystals cover the back, along with minor arsenopyrite and muscovite. Complete and undamaged.

Siderite with Quartz - $450

MMB-564 - Two quartz crystals accent a cluster of yellow-orange siderite rhombs (to 4.6 cm!) in this small cabinet specimen from the 1950's. Morro Velho, worked for its gold ore, is among the deepest mines in the world, extending nearly 3000 meters into the earth. These specimens are rarely seen in the market.

Clinozoisite (Epidote) - $2350

MMS-190 - Exceptional size, luster, transparency, complete termination...these combine to make this a very fine clinozoisite (epidote) specimen from Pakistan. A number of specimens of this size and quality were taken from a pocket in the 90's, and only occasionally do they return into the marketplace for sale. A killer gem crystal!
