Cavansite Wagholi India

Cavansite on Stilbite - $1500

MMB-531 - Bladed crystals of cavansite to 2 cm rest atop a thick spire of drusy stilbite. Possessing one of the most saturated colors in the mineral kingdom, cavansite less rarely forms in these "wheat sheaf," bladed crystals instead of the radial clusters.

MMB-534 - Fine, intergrown blades of hematite with mirror-bright luster and bevelled edges rise from a quartz crystal matrix. The specimen is pristine with a small contact on the left which doesn't detract visually at all. Numerous slivers of brownish-red rutile add visual contrast to the striated hematite. MMS-201 - A parallel pair of highly lustrous azurite crystals (to 3.4 cm) looks like two arrowheads embedded in a malachite crystal. The light green areas in the photo are evidence of the chatoyancy (sheen) this specimen displays, quite attractive in person. MMB-514 - Numerous isolated wulfenite crystals rest on a descloizite matrix upon quartz. The largest of the translucent, caramel-colored crystals measures 1.6 cm and is 7 mm thick. MMB-515 - Large helvite crystals to 2.2 cm find the perfect complement in numerous gemmy spessartine garnets, all on a light gray matrix.
